Getting Started

We invite you to make your first contact with Better Meals a human one. Service agents are available 8:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, ready to introduce you to our services and get you started with nutritious meals delivered to your door! We require as little as your name, telephone number, delivery address, and preferred method of payment to get you started. There is no contract, no membership to sign; no delivery charge; no tax. We are happy to accommodate special requests such as weekly or monthly standing orders, and can keep your credit card information securely on file so that payment is not a problem for you.

Once your account is set up and your first order is placed, we will consult the driver’s route for your delivery day and estimate your delivery time. You can expect a telephone call within one or two business days of your first order to advise you on your approximate delivery time. We always estimate a delivery window of two hours; for instance, Wednesdays between 9:00am and 11:00 am. Although we cannot guarantee delivery times, since traffic, weather and client needs can be unpredictable, we do strive to meet your needs to the best of our ability.

A few days after your first delivery, we will contact you to see if you have any questions about the service: the delivery, the heating, and the meals themselves. We will make sure you understand about ordering deadlines and offer you the opportunity to get a weekly reminder call if we haven’t already heard from you. If you are ordering on behalf of someone else, and there are reasons we should communicate entirely with you rather than with the meal recipient, please just let us know. You are a valued client, and we are happy to do whatever we can to make this service work for you.

Delivery

Our service is founded on convenient, free, weekly meal delivery. Meals are flash-frozen and delivered by refrigerated vans, so they arrive at your door in the same fresh state as when they left our facility.

The scheduling of your delivery date is determined by your address. There is a specific route to which the driver will follow to ensure all orders are delivered in a consistent and timely manner each week.

We always provide a two-hour window for your estimated delivery time. While we acknowledge that factors like weather, traffic, and unexpected client needs can impact this, we strive to be as reliable and consistent as possible. Our drivers are able to call you when they are en route, if that is helpful to you, as well as offering assistance in placing your meals in the freezer if needed.

While we regret that alterations to your delivery date or time are not feasible, we are more than willing to collaborate with you to ensure you receive your meals, even if you happen to be out.
